Ahmed Hossain
Actor, recitor, director and organizer Ahmed Hossain is a popular name in the cultural arena of the Bangladeshi-Canadian community. While studying at Dhaka University, Ahmed successfully completed a one-year long certificate course on acting from Natya Shikkhangon. Ahmed got several opportunities to attend the workshops of the theatre maestros like British Theatre Director Debora Warner, German Theatre Director Alexander StillMark and France Theatre Director Franchsoa. Ahmed was the Production Manager (Bangladesh Part) of the Channel Four produced War Crimes File made on the three notorious collaborators of 1971. Ahmed is the chief organzier and director of OnnoTheatre Toronto and Onnoshor (recitation group) Toronto.
