Mostafa Akand

Mostafa Akand, a Bangladeshi Canadian writer and social work professional, mostly writes in Bengali focusing on social and human psychology in Toronto-based Bengali weeklies and on Facebook. The two Bengali books to his credit are β€œKemon Desh Canada o Onnanno Proshongo”(How is Canada as Country and other  Issues, essays) and β€œDur Akasher Tan” (The Attraction of the Far Sky, stories).

He graduated from the University of Dhaka in Public Administration and also completed post-graduate diplomas in public policy and social work from Erasmus University, Netherlands, and George Brown College, Canada. He lives in Brampton, Ontario with his wife and two daughters.
