Afia Begum

Afia Begum, an Advocate-member of the Dhaka High Court Division, obtained a Canadian Diploma in Legal aspects, as well as in Immigration Consultancy in 2008 and 2017 respectively. A consultant in legal matters since 2005, Afia is daughter of Late Advocate MD. Shamsul Haque, a Freedom Fighter, MP, MCA, Governor, and a writer in Bangladesh. She is a poet, writer and reciter had her first book of poetry “Valobashar Onek Rong” published in 2017. Her first solo recitation album “Valo Theko” was released in 2015. One of the Directors at NRB TV, Canada, Afia lives in Toronto.
