Ashraf Mahmud
Ashraf Mahmud, a clinical psychologist, neuroscientist, poet and writer, born in Noakhali, Bangladesh on April 18, grew up in Montreal since his adolescence. He is now pursuing PhD in Clinical Psychology and Behavioral Neuroscience at Concordia University and working as a researcher there. Versatile in writing, Ashraf regularly writes poetry, stories, songs, and on science. He has been an active blogger in many Bengali blogs including ‘Muktomona’ and ‘Sachalayatan’. His published books include ‘Achorongoto Snayubijnan’ (the first book written in Bengali on behavioral neuroscience, 2017), ‘Roder Osukh’ (poetry, 2011) and ‘Mohimanito Noksha’ (The Grand Design, translation, 2011).
