Jubaida Gulshan Ara Hena

Jubaida Gulshan Ara Hena is a distinguished Bengali author, educator, and researcher whose literary contributions span novels, memoirs, science fiction, children’s literature, and young adult fiction.  An author of 106 books, Jubaida has earned widespread recognition for her creativity and versatility. Her acclaimed works include the memoirs Amaravati, Hridoyer Na Bola Kotha, and Smritira Mala Gathe, as well as the Collected Novels and Science Fiction Collection. Her children’s book Golpe Golpe Jay Bela received the National Book Centre Award, while her Roga Jamai series remains a favourite among young readers. A former member of the writing team for UNICEF Bangladesh’s Meena Series, she also authored educational books for the National Curriculum and Textbook Board. She has received numerous honours from Bangladesh, India, Nepal, and beyond
