Sheikh Jalil
Sheikh Jalil, now a cultural activist in Edmonton, was grown up in a cultural family, and has been involved in literature and music since his childhood. During his study in Mymensingh Medical College, Bangladesh in the 1980s, he was involved in many literary and cultural activities. From that time he started contributing to different newspapers. His books include ‘Shailla Bile Shaluk Ful’ (Lyrics, 2015), ‘Swapnonil Railgari’ (Poetry, 2011), ‘Sobhyota, Thamao Jatra’ (Poetry, 2010), ‘Jagirnama’ (Novel, 2009), ‘Nishithe Tomar Kuhok’ (Poetry, 2007), ‘Otripto Akangkha’ (Story, 2007), ‘Dukkho, Tomar Obhisare Jabo’ (Poetry, 2004) and ‘Pusti Karjokrom Sohaika’ (Healthcare, 2000).
